Photos and Images in Your Telegram Group

Group chats are full of pictures: screenshots, memes, holiday shots, a photo of the whiteboard. Your Agent One assistant can now follow along — it understands photos shared in the group, and anyone in the group can ask it to create a new image.

Your Assistant Can See Group Photos

There are two ways your assistant sees a photo in a group.

When you ask about it. Send a photo with a caption that mentions your assistant — "what plant is this?" — or reply to a photo someone else posted and mention your assistant. It looks at the photo and answers.

When it is just shared. When someone posts a photo without asking anything, your assistant makes a one-line note of what is in it. So if someone asks an hour later "what was in that screenshot?", it still knows.

A few things worth knowing:

  • Only that one short description is kept with the chat history — not the photo itself.
  • There is a daily limit per group on these background notes, so a photo-heavy day may not get a note for every picture.
  • Notes are skipped while the owner's daily messages have run out.
  • Photos larger than 20 MB can't be attached.

This works well with other features. Share a photo of a textbook page and ask for a quiz on it, or share a menu and ask what to order.

Create Images With /image

Your assistant can also make pictures. In the group (or in your private chat), type /image and describe what you want:

Example

/image a cat astronaut planting a flag on the moon

Want a different shape? Add "vertical" (9:16, for Reels and TikTok) or "horizontal" (16:9, for videos). With nothing added, you get a square. /image is also in the bot's command menu, so you can tap it instead of typing.

Images follow a safety policy: no real people or look-alikes of real people, no minors, and no sexual, violent or hateful content. A refused request does not use up a credit.

Open @AgentOne01Bot — and try /image with your first free picture.

What It Costs

  • 3 free images for every person, once.
  • After that, a pack of 10 images for 75 Stars, on any plan. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and pack images don't expire.
  • The paid Personal plan includes 30 images a month. They are added with your first image of the month and don't carry over to the next month.

A failed image does not use up a credit either — you only pay for pictures you actually get.

Who Pays in a Group?

In a group, the person who asks pays, from their own image credits. The owner's credits are never spent on other people's pictures.

Group members don't need their own Agent One account for this: each member gets their own 3 free images, and when those are used up they can add 10 more for 75 Stars in one tap, right in the group.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my assistant see photos in a group?
Yes. Send a photo with a question that mentions your assistant, or reply to a photo and mention it. A photo shared without a question is noted in one short line, so your assistant can talk about it later.
Does it keep my photos?
For photos shared without a question, only a one-line description is kept with the chat history, not the photo itself.
How do I create an image?
Type /image and a description. Add "vertical" or "horizontal" for a different shape; the default is square.
How many images are free?
3 per person, once. Then a pack of 10 images costs 75 Stars on any plan. Paid Personal includes 30 images a month.
Who pays for an image in a group?
The person who asks, from their own credits. Members get their own 3 free images even without an Agent One account.
